Repurposing of a storage warehouse in the Midlands to create a national base for ESL, a leading esports producer. The main volume was turned into a fully-equipped production facility for live online broadcasting and serves as the UK’s first dedicated space for live gaming events. A rare ‘sui generis’ planning permission was secured for this new type of venue, outside of established planning definitions.
